SILKY SEXY HAIR IS THE BEST SHAMPOO IN THE WHOLE WORLD. hahahah omggg i absolutely love it! its amazinggg. so you should buy silky sexy hair shampoo and conditioner. sexy hair shampoos and conditioners are on the expensive side though. both bottles are like $11 at your normal drugstore, so it would cost you $22. and if you dont mind me saying, i think you should get the pumpkin flavor. its delicious :]

Where can I buy the shampoo hair product Redken?

its a shampoo and the one i use is the Fresh Curls one..

I was just wondering if there were certain stores that sold it that I could get it from.

Thanks in Advanced.Where can I buy the shampoo hair product Redken?
You can get it on amazon:

You should be able to find it in a drugstore or local grocery store. If you can't find them there, you might want to try a salon, although it might be likely that it's not there. So hit the drugstores first.
most salons will be willing to special order product if you ask them to! also you may want to look in a major beauty supply store!

What kind of hair shampoo and conditioner do u usually use?

I use Herbal Essences mostly, but occasionally I'll use garneier fructis the new stuffWhat kind of hair shampoo and conditioner do u usually use?

1. Panteene Pro-V If U Wash THe Conditoner With Cold Water It Keep Youre Hair WAY Better than with warm

2. DOve It DOes Wat Ses It Does
Pantene Pro-V with a shower head that puts out a lot of pressure leaves my hair silky smooth. And Garnier Fructis has a great smell as well, but i haven't used it in a while.
Nexxus.... the exact one depends on what my hair is doing at the time.

Herbal Essence [hello hydration]

[:
I use pantene both shampoo and conditioner.People always compliment me on how naturally straight and really shiny my hair is.It's a really good product.

Don't use garneier fructis products. It makes your hair really greasy.
I like the Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine, and I also like Pantene Pro-V Restoratives Frizz Control. Both of those shampoos and condtioners leave my hair soft and manageable, but not greasy.
garnier fructise

hello hydration works sooo well and smells delicious!
Ive been using Matrix Biolage, the hydrating one. I also like TIGI Bedhead in Self Absorbed. Smells great. Also Lanza Color Care shampoo, awesome. I won't really use drug store shampoo on my hair anymore, they contain sulfates and detergents. That is why they lather so well and easily.
i use aussie. they have shampoo and conditioner for every style and other products that match. for example i use the sydney smooth shampoo and conditioner and i use 3 minute miracle smooth treatment also made by aussie.
I use Joico K-Pak, Redken AllSoft, Matrix Biolage, etc... I haven't used store bought brands in 10 years! I don't even know what they have there anymore.

How old do you have to be to work at a salon? Do you have to be a beautician to shampoo hair at a salon?

or does the hair cutters cut hair and shampoo hair? See, I'm trying to find a job where it would be pretty fun to work at. I mean, maybe I could be the receptionist at a salon when I turn 16? I was thinking maybe working at a tanning salon or Chuck E. Cheese or something.

Could you give me some more ideas of places where it would be at least a bit enjoyable to work at?

Thank you so much. How old do you have to be to work at a salon? Do you have to be a beautician to shampoo hair at a salon?
You can work at a hair salon when you are 16. At my salon we all shampoo our own clients, but at some salons they have a shampoo girl. A shampoo girl does not have to be a licensed cosmetologist, so maybe you could do that or be a receptionist at a salon. You can also work at a tanning salon at the age of 16.

You could work at a clothing store or some place like Bath %26amp; Body Works.

What is a good hair repairing shampoo/conditioner?

I have died my hair, and bleached my hair SO much that when its wet i can barely comb it because it falls out.

What are some really high quality hydrating/repairing products that you can buy at Dominick's or Jewel?

I've tried herbal essence, Garnier, Head %26amp; Shoulders, and Pantene.

any suggestions for severe damage? What is a good hair repairing shampoo/conditioner?
I tried some of Aveda's products . .. so far, I guess they are working. Its called the hydrating masque and it works wonders.

Maybe you should just try putting some hair oil on your head and leave it in for about 5 minutes. Then try putting in your hair products. That really works.

You can also try to just cut out the shampoo . .. since it drys the scalp a lot.

What will happen if you wash your hair in shampoo and perioxide?

my husband made me mad so i put peroxide into his shampoo he has black hair? What will happen if you wash your hair in shampoo and perioxide?
It might bleach and dry out his hair, lol.

-be happi, live well. What will happen if you wash your hair in shampoo and perioxide?
wow nice. it'll probably strip his hair and make it really brittle. if its already thin it might even start breaking and fall out. this'll probably only happen if he uses it a lot, if its only once it should survive. and i doubt it will change the color of it, but it might make it look dull

please answer mine?

That's got to be one of the most immature things I've ever heard of.

As long as he washes it out immediately, it shouldn't do TOO much damage, but if he leaves it in long at all, it's going to lighten and damage his hair.
if theres a lot it may fall out hahaha

talk to your husband;)

  • Looking for a hair shampoo/conditioner to replace hair relaxer?

I use a hair relaxer about once every 2-3 months. I really don't enjoy it so I'm wondering if anyone knows a good product I could use to keep my hair straight. I have normal hair that isn't coarse. So far I've tried garnier (sp?) and Head and Shoulders: Smoothe and Silky. I've been using H%26amp;S because it works best so far. Any suggestions?Looking for a hair shampoo/conditioner to replace hair relaxer?
Matrix has a wonderful product called SLEEK LOOKS. Buy the shampoo conditioner and the styling products, and your hair will be as straight as if you had a relaxer. Sold in most salons, and your stylist should teach you how much to use.Looking for a hair shampoo/conditioner to replace hair relaxer?
Pantene is a really good conditioner. It makes your hair soft and it moisturizes at the same time.

    Try it.
Creme of Nature Shampoo and Conditioner
try Doo Gro shampoo and conditioner.

What's the best non expensive hair system (shampoo etc) in Australia?

I use the the dove hair colouring shamoo and conditoner but don't know whether the hiar mask is good so if you use let me know. I also wangt to know what works if you've got lightned hair and what use and what works. What's the best non expensive hair system (shampoo etc) in Australia?
i use natural source. i get it from a salon supplier in ferntree gully victoria. its great and only about $20 for 1 litre

their treatments and leave in conditioners are awesome too.

good luckWhat's the best non expensive hair system (shampoo etc) in Australia?
You schould try sunsilk it is amazing. i use it and it really makes your hair look good. they have like 20 different shampoo and conditioner styles so whatever the hair type you hair (curly hightlited frizzy staright long short) they have a shampoo for it =]
Ditto Rachel (finally someone who agrees with me that Pantene is crap). Dove is good, apparently so is Loreal. Me personally, i like anything by Matrix, DC (Deep Care) and De Lorzeno. They've got natural ingredients.
Anything by Schwarzkopf or L'Oreal. They have really good supermarket brands out there.
dove is good stick with that. their mask is good too

avoid products like tresemme and pantene

What shampoo/hair product can I use to get wavy hair?

I have hair that's kinda in the middle. It's mostly straight but has like one big wave in the middle. What shampoo or product can I use to create more waves in my hair? What shampoo/hair product can I use to get wavy hair?
a shampoo itself can never change the state of your hair. you will want to try a shampoo that doesnt weigh your hair down so that your hair has its full potential for volume, and you could also try using a curl creme in wet hair and sleeping on it. if you find that after sleeping on it that the wave is good but its too volumous at the crown of your head, spray the top of your head (not the waves) and blow try it flat. i got the same issue as you, i feel your pain :( hope it helped! What shampoo/hair product can I use to get wavy hair?
a wave perm will do it, but there isnt anything to make waves in the line of shampoo or conditioners, you either have it or you perm it
I used a shampoo called ';gorgeous'; it adds a lot of volume to any kind of hair... especially wavy hair. It looks nice and makes your hair look healthy. Also I would recommend the Aveeno shampoo.
You can try a curl defining shampoo (garnier has a good one). I know you probably don't want to hear it, but there is no magic shampoo that'll just make your hair curly. :)
Well that i dont know but u coould always twist ur hair and then tie the bottom or you could braid your hair and then keep wetting it every 5 to 6 hours!!
any shampoo that will give volume to your hair.

When should I wash my hair with shampoo?

Hi. I would like to know when I should wash my hair with shampoo: in the morning or before going to bed?

How many times should a man wash his hair with shampoo a day? When should I wash my hair with shampoo?
You should wash your hair with shampoo everyday after work and at least 2 hours before going to bed. When should I wash my hair with shampoo?
i usually do it at night so that my sheets stay cleaner longer, and so my hair can dry naturally while i sleep. and it's more relaxing to take a bath or a shower at night... but yeah, definately shampoo your hair EVERYDAY at least once.
    In the morning and everyday
Once is fine unless you get really sweaty later.

Where can I buy good hair growth shampoo, and how much does it cost?

my hair is pretty damaged, and the only way it looks alright is if I damage it more by straightening it... i dont want to do that so i need help growing it long so i can cut off the damage. i just cut off some, but theres a lot more and its much too short already. ive heard that growth shampoo really works so i wouldnt mind trying that for a while. where can i get some that works, and is it a lot?Where can I buy good hair growth shampoo, and how much does it cost?
Growth shampoos don't actually work as well as they claim they do. You should focus more on your hair's health instead of the length. If you already have so much damage try deep conditioning every week %26amp; be sure to trim your hair every 6 to 8 weeks. I know it's already shorter than you'd like but by trimming it regularly you will give your hair more health %26amp; strength %26amp; it will grow out much nicer. You should also try washing it every other day, that way you wont have to straighten your hair every day. Washing it every day also dries it out, it much healthier going a day or two without washing it.Where can I buy good hair growth shampoo, and how much does it cost?
I love Dominican hair products, my hair never feels heavy and has lots of body and a beautiful scent. Try www.iBeautyNY.com
Garnier Fruitis or Sunsilk has products but mostly Garnier Fruitis.
    heres one for under 20:

    http://www.salonweb.com/37/grow.htm

    good luck =]
I would love to know a growth shampoo. I had severe damage so I had it all cut off.. only thing you can do because hair grows EXTREMELY slow when its really damaged. my hair has grown 2 1/2 inches since I got it cut so short 2 months ago.
mane and tail from sally beauty supply and you can take prenatal vitamins it will help to and the mane and tail shampoo and conditioner is like 10 bux each for a huge bottle
To buy hair growth shampoo, u can get them at beauty supply stores or the products direct site. The best by far to me iz Miracle Growth and Dr. Miracle. If you need to find their direct sitez then just type them in the search bar and they'll pop up. Good luck!!!

  • What are some herbal remedies for cleansing your hair without shampoo and conditioner?

    eg: vinegar, tea, beaten egg...

What do you use, if you don't use shampoo or conditioner? What can you recommend to me?

Thank you. What are some herbal remedies for cleansing your hair without shampoo and conditioner?
You can do an apple cider vinegar rinse. You mix 2 cups of water with 2 tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Shake it well. While in the shower poor it over your whole head. Leave on for like 2 minutes. Rinse out and condition. What are some herbal remedies for cleansing your hair without shampoo and conditioner?
Absolutely nothing.YOU need shampoo and conditioner. It gives you the nutrients and oils you need actually cleans it

Why not shampoo hair that was just dyed?

Why shouldn't you shampoo your hair 4 days after you just had it dyed? Does something bad happen? Why not shampoo hair that was just dyed?
Nothing bad really happens, it's just that since your hair has been through so much with the whole chemical process, the shampoo could dry out/ frizz out your hair and add to the damage. The main thing shampoo does is make your hair smell pretty. However, you can use conditioner (usually provided if it was a box dye?) or just use a good one such as Pantene prov or dove. This will keep your hair healthy, smelling pretty and moisturized:)Why not shampoo hair that was just dyed?
It really depends on what color you had done. If you had red put on, it is because the molecules are larger and are pulled from the hair easier, so we say don't wash for 3 or 4 days so that the molecules can hold better. Sometimes with other colors it for similar reasons. I usually ask my clients not to shampoo for 48 hours.
Your hair needs some time to fully absorb the color and to have a little rest after being damaged from the dyeing process.

I usually only wait 48 hours because I can't stand it anymore, and I've never had any problems.
The color itself needs time to deposit into the cuticle, but 3 days should be plenty..If it is done professionally.
honestly i hope nothing bad happens cause i wash my hair within the 4 days...opps

What is the best hair care shampoo/conditioner product?

I'm not really looking for fancy salon brand/organic shampoos mostly because I wash my hair everyday, so I wouldn't want to spend too much. I've been using herbal essences for a LONG time, but I've heard that it's bad for your hair? My hair is thick and long. I want it to be soft, shiny, etc. Also, to stay thick(: Thanks. What is the best hair care shampoo/conditioner product?
Pantene is a good company I'm not sure if it's good or bad for your hair but I know it works well it makes your hair really soft and shiny I got pantene shampoo and conditioner for 2$ or something each at a sale it'll probably work unless your hair is layered then I'm not sure and head and shoulders is a good company too it's organic and good for your hair. What is the best hair care shampoo/conditioner product?
If you like HE and the fragrance stay with it. Herbal Essences is not bad for your hair. Be skeptical of the source of that information. I developed hair care and skin care products for over 25 years, around the globe, large and small, retail and salon. I'm retired and I did not work in HE. There is too much hype and misinformation in the system.

As one person noted, Pantene is also a very good choice but a little more expensive. They offer a few more treatment choices, for example if you want to emphasize thickness.

You would probably benefit from rotating your shampoo for a week after you finish a bottle of HE. Maybe buy a very small bottle of Pantene or use another family members shampoo for a week. Then go back to your favorite shampoo. Enjoy your shampoo, guilt free.
you would never get long term good results with cheap drugstore products, the secret with professional shampoos and conditioners is that they contain the best ingredients that are gentle on hair. My suggestions are L'oreal, neutrogena, keune etc.

    http://www.helium.com/items/1203324-hair-care-tips
    DONT BUY PANTENE.

that lady obviously doesnt know what shes talking about, she didnt even spell the brand name right.

Pantene tests on animals. Enough said. and besides it dries out your hair.
Pantine is really the best line of shampoos and conditioners to go with.

Trust me, they do what they say..

    Hope I could help.

Would a expensive hair thickening shampoo differ alot from a cheap one?

I've been buying a 5 dollar shampoo that is supposed to thicken nicely, but it isn't that great.

If I bought one for 20 bucks, would it make a difference?Would a expensive hair thickening shampoo differ alot from a cheap one?
I use big sexy hair extra volume shampoo on my hair. It keeps it clean, and helps me to get volume when I style it, but there's not a significant difference. The only kind of shampoo that I could see being great for thickening is one with keratin in it... (I believe Joico's K-Pak line has keratin.)

The difference is that cheap shampoos don't have a whole lot of ';extras'; like keratin, pure oils, and other extracts that can be beneficial to your hair. They also tend to create a lot of build-up, which can weigh your hair down and make it dull looking over time (think: pantene.) They can also be damaging to artificial color. And they are not as highly concentrated... so you get what you pay for. I promise, you'll get your money's worth with a professional product.

Don't expect anything Miraculous, though. Shampoo is inherently designed to clean, not thicken. Try a protein treatment at your salon for more immediate results.Would a expensive hair thickening shampoo differ alot from a cheap one?

Which/What vacuum that will clean up pet hair and shampoo my carpet also?

I am looking to purchase a vacuum that will vacuum my carpet and shampoo my carpet when needed, but is 1 vacuum. I don't want to have to buy 2 seperate vacuums if there is one that does both. Any information is greatly appreciated! Thanks.Which/What vacuum that will clean up pet hair and shampoo my carpet also?
This is as close to what you want without purchasing two.

Bissell 5200z Flip-It Hard Floor Wet/Dry Vacuum CleanerWhich/What vacuum that will clean up pet hair and shampoo my carpet also?
I cant find one, or just one.

I had the Bissell, but have already had to take it to be worked on. Seems it does pick up the hair, but it clogs very very easy. Especially with the water.

I found it best to use a hard squeegee. You can get one at Walmarts for about $7

I have 1/2 of it cut with little grooves like teeth the other half I left flat.

Works great. Especially in the house around the baseboards or furniture. Vacuum it up them shampoo

  • Is wetting your hair considered the same as washing your hair with shampoo?

    Hey...

I used to wet my hair everyday but my parents say you should only wet your hair when you're going to shampoo your hair. Is that true? I've always thought that washing your hair simply with water is different than washing it with shampoo? So now I just wet my hair once in two days and only when I'm going to shampoo my hair.Is wetting your hair considered the same as washing your hair with shampoo?
Water is great for allowing the naturla oils to build back up into your hair but you need a little something occasionally - just to stop it looking lanky and greasy. I suggest wet it for 2 days and wash it on the third. Can't do it any harm..Is wetting your hair considered the same as washing your hair with shampoo?
no this is just fr girls cause their hair cannot be dried easily
definately YES!!! dont wet your hair..if ur hair stink the water doesnt deflect the bad smell...dont do that...
hi - your parents are right - it is totally pointless to wet your hair unless you are going to shampoo it.

Shampoo will remove the build up of pollutants and styling products on your hair.

I shampoo and condition my hair on a daily basis - some people don't agree with this. I don;t see it as just washing my hair - i see it as washing my scalp. I mean you wouldn't just wash your face twice a week would you?
no i know lots of ppl who wet their hair b/c it improves the texture and makes it easier to manage. its mostly ppl with naturally curly hair. but you dont have to wash it to wet it (although i hope you wash it regularly between wettings). its ok to wet it, as long as its not to cold out cuz that makes it easier to catch cold. i mean, what is a little water going to hurt?
    It's not the same ..
They are not the same. While rinsing your hair might take out the dirt, it won't take out any of the grease. The oils in your hair are water insoluble, so if you want your hair to be clean, you have to use shampoo/soap.
I wet my hair all the time to make it manageable. I only shampoo/condition about every other day, and my hair (although not always cooperative) is always super soft and shiny w/o being greasy, and is always easy to comb or brush without having lots of tangles.

I don't think wetting your hair from time to time is bad for it, although I wouldn't consider that a form of washing it. However, over-washing can have negative effects just the same as under-washing. It's important to know how often is the best to shampoo/condition your hair to keep it as healthy as possible.
if you are going to wash your hair you need shampoo, water doesnt do anything, and it doesnt matter if you just wet your hair, i do it in summer to cool down.
    Wash your hair properly..
You can wet your hair whenever you want as many times as you want, but if you intend to wash your hair then just add shampoo.
No it is not. Water doesn't clean your hair the way shampoo does. Your hair will still get oily when wetting with just water. Water doesn't harm your hair, I used to wet my hair with water when I needed to style it, and washed it with shampoo when it needed to be cleaned.
    What?

I wet my hair daily to style it..since my hair is on the dry side I can't wash it everyday.
washing your hair with plane water is useless, it will only lead to hairfall. when washing your hair do it with a good shampoo.

also its better to wash hair only twice a week.....
you got to mix the shampoo with water, omg

Can people with curly hair skip shampoo and just use conditioner?

I have very thick hair that is pretty curly and ive heard before that its best for my texture to skip shampoo. Any one else tried this? How did it work out for you?

Thanks! Can people with curly hair skip shampoo and just use conditioner?
    people saying eww no..are wrong.

I can skip shampoo if I want to.

shampoo dries out my hair, and the conditioner makes it soft and renewed.

    love your curls!

you can skip shampoo a couple times a week,it won't kill your hair and it won't make it greasy.

trust me,I have thick curly hair too.

by the way,if you hair is hard to comb, get an ouchless brush and then while the conditioner is in your hair, brush it,then rinse.works for me!Can people with curly hair skip shampoo and just use conditioner?
People with curly or very wavy hair usually have drier, frizzier hair than people with straight hair. This is because the oil cannot move down the hair as easy. You should brush your hair gently but a lot at least once a day to distribute the natrual oil. It's good to skip washing alltogether whenever you can to give your hair a break. Try only shampooing your scalp, when you rinse it will clean the rest of your hair but without drying it as much. You can also only use conditioner on the ends to keep your scalp from being as greasy. A good 5 minute rinse is better than a shampoo, it's perfectly fine to skip it once in a while, and much healthier for your hair!
If it works for you, go for it... but I don't advise never washing it again. I have naturally curly hair, and normally curly hair people gunk up their hair with a ton of products to keep the frizz down, so if this is the case, you'll want to wash it about 3 times a week to remove build up.

Everyone's hair is different. I've always been told to not wash your hair every day, and that 3-4 times is optimum, but I have very greasy hair and must wash it every day. So if you can make it a few extra days not washing it, more power to you. I also deep condition it once a week or twice if I've been in the sun or pool / ocean a lot that week.
A good idea is to condition every shower and shampoo every other shower. For maximum moisture and healthy curls, after rinsing out all of the product in your hair, take a dab of your conditioner and work it through your hair but leave it in don't rinse it out. Style your hair as usual, spray leave in conditioner, mouse or gel and you'll notice a huge difference!
I have very curly hair and I found out that shampoo was the key to the health of my hair. I wold wash and condition every other day. It kept my curls soft and natural. It is essential to use shampoo with very curly hair. Dirt weighs down your hair. Wash it as much as possible.

I gave up on hair styling because my hair was so curly. So instead of walking around looking like Orphan Annie I have dredlocs and I still wash my hair every other day.
gross..no the shampoo is the most important part its what actually cleans your hair. the conditioner just detangles it.
    ew no!

can you imagine what your hair would look like if you never shampood it and just put conditioner in it!??? it'd would be super greasy in about three days!!
noo it'll be greesy and all icky

u should use alot of conditioner

Don't. It makes your hair super greasy.

Are there any shampoos for cats/kittens to reduce shedding BESIDES brushing them often? If so, where can they be found? My Chicken sheds a lot and she doesn't even have very long hair! Please help. Are there any hair control shampoo for cats?
Don't brush your cat - comb it. Brushes do little to remove the dead undercoat which is what is shedding around your home. Get a good steel-toothed comb and give the cat a good combing every day for at least a week to get the existing dead hairs out. Shorthaired cats have undercoats just like long-haired cats and you'll be surprised how much dead hair you'll get out! After that you really only need to comb a short-haired cat about once a week - more during shedding season.

What sort of food are you feeding your cat? Cheap foods don't give the vitamins and minerals cats need to maintain a healthy coat - so you may want to switch to a better quality food if you're feeding it grocery store cat food.

Get some salmon oil (PetSmart carries it and you can find it online - ';Grizzly Salmon Oil'; is the one I get). It's great for a cat in many ways including helping their coat stay lustrous and healthy.

If the shedding is REALLY excessive though or you notice the hairs are topcoat - not undercoat - then you may want to get her to the vet. A hormonal imbalance could be the problem. Are there any hair control shampoo for cats?
    SHAMPOO!..........that means water.

    Cats hate water.

What's wrong with giving your cat a nice brush down every day...........I Do.
It's better to treat the source than the result. Bathing a cat can be a nightmare, and applying anything topically to control shedding will likely be an exercise in futility.

Cats shed. There's very little you can do about it.

Feeding a good canned food may help a little, adding fish oil to the diet may help a little (at least with hairballs), but grooming is really the only effective solution.

When shedding season rolls around, you could always splurge on a professional bath and brush out. That'll get rid of a good deal of it, but you really just have to keep at it.

Any ideas on how to get rid of greasy feeling hair when shampoo is ineffective?

I suddenly have a greasy feeling in my hair that can't be washed out. Shampoo's are thoroughly rinsed out and no conditioner used. The slickness is not coming from the scalp, it starts about 1/2 cm from my head. This started after washing my hair 2 days ago and has been scrubbed vigorously and washed many times since. Any ideas on what this is or more importantly, how to get rid of it?Any ideas on how to get rid of greasy feeling hair when shampoo is ineffective?
When I used to use thick Murray's Pomade and other grease in my hair, if I needed to wash it out I used dish washing liquid. Just fill up an old shampoo bottle and fill it withe the extra strength dish washing stuff. Use that for the rough stuff, AND use regular shampoo after. But be aware that you'll have to use some conditioner or whatever because it is very rough on your hair.Any ideas on how to get rid of greasy feeling hair when shampoo is ineffective?
try using a different shampoo and use conditioner as well.

I use treseme.. the black bottle for shampoo and the white one is the conditioner. It works great.

Suave, dont use. and I dont like the cheap ones. They work as effective as the other ones do. You pay more for the pricier ones (treseme is only 4 bucks) but it works great!
Make sure to use a clarifying shampoo (Neutrogena or Suave make good ones) once a week to remove grease/build-up.
it might be your shampoo. Try somehing diffrent. I know that suave daily cleansing or somthing like that. Its pretty cheap and works good. try it.
Neutrogena shampoo rids your hair of build up and oils, it's good to use it at least once a week. You'll find that your regular brand is more effective afterwards. If once with Neutrogena doesn't work, use it for a few days or more. Try not to use any styling products during this time--your hair will thank you for it!
    brush it a lot
wash it like normal it will eventually come of

  • Where can I get hair thickening shampoo; not hair loss treatment shampoo?

I'm looking for a good shampoo that will make my hair more voluminous and thicken the hairs that are in my head already. I'm not looking for any shampoos that contain hair-loss inhibiting or hair regrowth drugs... just something that will make the hair thicker and stronger.

Anyone have suggestions?Where can I get hair thickening shampoo; not hair loss treatment shampoo?

I love the Thicken Up product. Theres nothing out there that will permanently change the thickness of your hair, but using the right products will strengthen your hair, making it easier to add volume .Where can I get hair thickening shampoo; not hair loss treatment shampoo?
i wouldnt use henna it can be damaging tou your hair , once you use henna a hairstylist cannot colour your hair till all the henna is out of your hair . i suggest a lightweight gentle cleansing shampoo n conditioner something that wont weigh your hair down ,avoid conditioner on your roots and just apply to the ends , avoid pantene ,head n shoulders, and fructis as they coat the hair n weigh it down try loreal products , also invest in a dry shampoo use that on dry hair and spray on the roots , too add volume styling is important and styling products , try a thickening cream and blast the dryer all over your roots in different directions as this confuses the roots and creates volume . good luck!
I would say not to use chemicals on your hair. Why don't you go for some home remedies Egg whites, lemon juice, oil massages, reducing stress and diet changes can reduce hair fall and make it healthier. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for hair loss as well as for healthy hair at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/hairfall.htm鈥?/a>

I think hair plus combo would be a good choice. As you expect it does not have any hair loss inhibiting or regrowth drugs but still helps in increasing the thickness and also gives shine to them.

I use Redken, Matrix, Biolage, or Bumble %26amp; Bumble, and they are amazing and not too pricey. Does it matter to change hair shampoo every one or two months?

I have normal hair, and I have no problem as such with my hair. And I change my hair shampoo every one or second month. Is it wrong?

Would it harm my hair? I am male and have short hair.

Any suggestions.....Does it matter to change hair shampoo every one or two months?
While it will not harm your hair, there is no proof that it helps your hair either, especially if you wear it short and have it trimmed often. If you feel that it's looking dull or has some product or shampoo build up in it, you can try using a clarifying treatment (found in the shampoo aisle) every few weeks.

Good luckDoes it matter to change hair shampoo every one or two months?
Actually , there is no need for you to change your shampoo so frequently . You must rather stick to a shampoo that suits you the best . But yes , once in a while , you might as well change your shampoo but that should be a rare occasion . Now how often you change your shampoo totally depends on how frequent you shampoo your hair . Like , I shampoo my hair almost daily and I use Garnier Ultra Doux plant milk shampoo ....... after every three weeks , I use a different shampoo but only once ....... By doing this your hair would not get accustomed to only one shampoo and become sensitive to other shampoos...... if you know what i mean .....
    hi

i think ur hair is healthy othewise it may cause side effects.dont change products always.select a standard shampoo.Costly or cheap is not a matter.Quality is must.if u become older means at that time only problem starts.in young age we are careless in many things but after some age hair and health start to affect. At that time doctor will ask d reason for ur side effect.Changing shampoos or any products will be a slow posion for us.we have to be careful in selecting products. My friend also did d same mistake and taking treatment.Dont do it.

One kind request please avoid applying shampoo directly mix some water always to avoid ur hair dryness

Use mild shampoos like pantene lively clean or dove(no conditioner needed)

clinic plus and head and shoulder may cause hair fall(conditoner needed)
It does NOT harm your hair to change shampoos. In fact, it is considered better for your hair to alternate shampoos every couple weeks because some shampoos work differently than others and changing it up ensures that there is no build up or residue left on your hair.
    Hi,

changing your hair shampoo is not bad.but since you have tested so many shampoos you must be having an idea by now which shampoo suits your hair.once you have determined it dont switch shampoos any more try to stick to the best one!

    hope i helped!

    :)
There's no need to change shampoos. They studied shampoo once and they found that they're all just basically soap. I just use a cheap shampoo that cleans my hair good, and I've been using it for years.
With a young male it wont hurt and with an older 50 or over it will because old scalps get old and yukky and they start to get dandruff
Wow. You must be a metrosexual . A guy that spends more time getting ready than a girl.

    lol.
WARNING!!!!!!!!!!! PLEASE READ THIS DOSENT MATTER ITS FINE BUT I CAN TELL YOU THIS YOU MAY BECOME A ..........SHAMPOOHOLIC......
no need to change shampoos. just use a clarifying shampoo once a week, and your regular shampoo will work well!
Dude, its hair, it shouldn't damage it....
its good to stick to one brand of shampoo
use only one shampoo which is suitable to your hair
if u change ur shampoo every one or second month it would damage ur hair

I'm a boy that has curly hair. This is about when my hair is a bit long. My hair on the back and top are slightly curly. Then on the front ends of the hair and sides get really curly. I want my hair on the sides and front to be like the top of my hair where it's just slightly curly. this is my natural hair type. What shampoo brands are good for hair straitening that i can get for cheep at stores like walmart, walgreens, longs, or other local stores like that?Hair shampoo?
you want a shampoo that will make your hair straight for a boy? iv got the perfect answer!

buy herbal essences dangerously sright. it may be for girls but who cares!

it may not work as well for some who has really curly hair but that ok just use a blow dryer with a wide tooth comb from roots to ends if ur ok with taking the time to do thatHair shampoo?
Theres not really a shampoo for that but you can try SunSilk (Purple bottle) for straight hair and see if that can help. The only thing I can think of would be for you to blow dry it some in the areas that are really curly and try to relax the curl then sleep on it so it can take out the puffiness. Thats the only thing I can think of that might actually work. I have curly hair too but mine is the same all over. I just blow dry it some next I let it air dry then just sleep on it regularly to get the puffiness out. Seems to work for me.

you need a good condition and leave in one
Just to let you know its totally normal for your hair to fall out

but anyway, you should get a vitamit shampoo or a strenghtening shampoo, or a shampoo for long hair, because if its long that could be the problem, long hair gets brittle and more prone to breakage. could you give more details about your hair type, length, and about how much hair falls out?
um maybe u are going bald? use head and shoulders totally cool.... helps you get rid of the snow off your head too!

It all depends on WHY?? your hair is falling out. Or is it just naturally shedding? Well invest in some Aphogee shampoo and protien conditions this should help put some strength back into your hair. Follow the protien treatments every two weeks to see long lasting results. Good Luck!!!

    Garnier Fructis Sleek and Shine
Please don't hit me *gulps* but I would suggest smooth down or all soft shampoo and conditioner by Redken (which my girlfriend uses and LOVES) either that or Oleo relax by K茅rastase, they are more expensive that what you can buy at Walmart (or Asda here in England) but they really do what they say on the bottle, and they are less harsh on your hair than over the counter ones, but if you do want to get shampoo and conditioner from the walmart, i would suggest either John Frieda frizz ease, or Garnier Fructis sleek and shine.

Is it OK to wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday?

My hair is very skinny, and if i don't wash it with shampoo then its like all skinny and doesn't looks good at all.. and if i don't wash my hair everyday its like gets greasy and stuff.. so i just wanted to know is it OK wash your hair with shampoo everyday? Is it OK to wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday?
It is not ok to wash your hair everyday. You are stripping your hair and scalp of natural oils that are essential to healthy hair. I wash my hair once a week. I use dry shampoo just on my part and top of my head to get make sure my hair doesn't get oily during the week on days that I don't wash it. It is a powder and you just massage it into the scalp. You do not wash it out. I get mine at Sephora. You can also get them at some drug stores.

It is ok to condition your hair as much as you want to. You can rinse it, which will remove most of the oiliness and then condition it it you wanted too.

Most celebrities actually only wash their hair a couple of times of month to keep it healthy. I hope this helps! Is it OK to wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner everyday?
no do not wash your hair every day that will damage your hair. do it every other day or even every other day. my aunt always told me that she's a hairstlyer but i still do and my hair is fine. **** then if you sweat your going to be all smelly or better if you use hairspray or any other stuff.
no it's not good for you to wash your hair everyday, because you can dry it out and damage it. I know it sounds kind of weird but it's true, and it's even worse if you blow dry or flat iron.
Normally, it wouldn't be the best for your hair because of all the chemicals and oils.

If your hair really needs it though, and looks good if you do it this way, then it should be fine!

    Tip :)

Don't ever condition the roots of your hair! Your hair needs the natural oils the roots provide, and if you mix it up with conditioner, its not so good.
people say it's best to do it every other day, but if your hair is greasy like mine then i think it's better to stay clean. my hair is thick and healthy, and softer and smoother than alot of my friends'
it's not good to wash your hair with shampoo everyday, but it's not THAT bad.

    but conditioner is really bad.

conditioner makes your hair more oily.
it is really bad if u wash ur hair everyday as it is to straighten ur hair everyday
yes shampoo and conditioner is okay everyday,It may make your hair a little dry sometimes..but it is A okayy

no current product on the market makes hair grow faster. it can stimulate roots to encourage!! blood flow etc and nourishment so that the 'normal' rate of hair growth is restored but not increased. I would take a large pinch of salt with any such claims and look to see where evidence and research substantiates this if at all ?

lye soap was made from animal fat. It was used for cleaning everything from the household floors, to clothing, to hair and bodies. Usually bathing was done sparingly because the water had to be hauled from the river or creek and heated on the stove. Usually not more often than once a week. Usually on Saturday night so they would be clean for church on Sunday. Everyone went to church unless they were very sick.

Before the lye soap was invented, they didn't take very many baths. Usually once a year in May. That's why June is the traditional month of marriage. That is when they were cleanest. How did people wash their hair before shampoo was invented?
I've wondered this myself. It appears that the first shampoo was made in the middle of the 18th century near where I am from (Brighton, England). Basically it was then made from shaved soap. Soap on the other hand has been around since before the Roman era, although they didn't use it. However it would have been imported or home made right up until the mid 17th century. Even then it was probably expensive.

Up until a couple hundred years ago they only bathed occasionally and even Royalty must have stunk most of the time!
Well gee, let me guess, how about SOAP %26amp; WATER!
You can make a lather with regular bar soap and work that into your hair. I've done that in Viet Nam and while travelling in other parts of the world.
They might have used this one kind of slippery bark that's like soap, but from what I hear even people like Queen Elizabeth only bathed once a year.

How can I wash my hair without shampoo after a workout?

I know it's bad to shampoo your hair everyday, but here lies the problem. I workout mostly everyday and get pretty sweaty. In fact when I take my hair out of the hairtie it doesn't even fall out (it looks like a mullet held up by sweat lol). I don't see any way around using shampoo everyday, but I don't want to damage my hair. Does anyone else have this problem and what should I do?How can I wash my hair without shampoo after a workout?
You can just rinse it with warm water and use conditioner at the scalp, this way it can get rid of the excess oil that has built up. It doesn't do any damage to your hair (compared to what shampoo does) and it also semi-cleans and rinses out the oil in your hair. How can I wash my hair without shampoo after a workout?
Its only advisable to not shampoo everyday if you dont do any activities that cause the need to wash it everyday.

If you are worried about doing damage to your hair, just be sure to use a gentle shampoo, and a good conditioner. My favorite ';good for your hair'; shampoo is by Johnathan. You can buy it at Sephora or online. It is a vegan shampoo, and it doesnt have harsh chemicals in it. It doesnt even really suds when you lather. (Which is actually a good thing).

You could also use baby shampoo. It is super gentle and doesnt have a ton of alcohol in it.

Use conditioner for damaged or dry hair, and do not heat style every day. just let it air dry, or put it back up into a hair tie. =]
Purchase a dry shampoo. It's a shampoo that you can use without wetting your hair. Go to your local salon %26amp; see if they can help your purchase something that will work with your hair type. They work great %26amp; keep your hair healthy. Another little tiny trick that might sound a little weird is baby powder. Tap some into your hand, rub your hands together, then run your fingers through your hair. It will help take the oils out of your hair. this only works when your hair is completely dry.
Just wash it with conditioner. The water will get out most of the sweat and the conditioner will still leave it smelling good.
Depending upon the color of your hair, you can use powder to help absorb any grease or sweat.
    Use coditioner

What's the best shampoo / hair product for thick, wavy/curly hair?

I have thick wavy / kind of curly hair that tends to frizz. What's a good shampoo / conditioner / hair product in general that will define curls, reduce poof, and manage frizz?

I don't care how expensive, just as long as it works.

Nothing cheap, either. I went through so many of those $3 shampoos that do nothing for my hair. What's the best shampoo / hair product for thick, wavy/curly hair?
My hair is the same way... I use Catwalk curls rock shampoo and conditioner. It works great. To make sure I dont loose my curls I dont brush it. I shampoo condition then towel dry and I add the catwalk leave in conditioner to protect my hair the finish it off by crunching some catwalk curl amplifier and just let it air dry. Frizz is no longer a preoblem and it only takes like 2 minutes to have great hair! I tried redken curls and i didnt get as much definition as i do with catwalk. I also tried ABBA and it also dosnt give me definition and there is some frizz... but, abba has this curl reactor and it works well. you just need a few sprits and your ready! good luckWhat's the best shampoo / hair product for thick, wavy/curly hair?
try looking on http://www.makeupalley.com for reviews of shampoos. Also please specify if your hair is dry, oily or normal.

If price is no object look around on http://www.sephora.com they have all kinds of great hair products. You can also look on http://www.hairbotique.com
Redken makes a great line for curly/wavy hair. It's called Fresh Curls. Not too expensive either.

I had a perm once and I tried a bunch of stuff - even frizz ease. Redken worked the best.
My hair is curly, and thick, and i use Sunsilk [ the purple / lilac one] i cant remember the name. But it does straighten it better than any other shampoo when you blow dry your hair.

Does hair thickening shampoo really work?

I saw in a store(Bath and body works) some hair thickening shampoo and condtitioner bottles for those with fine hair.

Do they work?Does hair thickening shampoo really work?
it does to a certain extent but i wouldn't say that they made that much difference yea it does thicken your hair up but not how you really want it to,...Does hair thickening shampoo really work?
    i never use it ....

    so haven't got any clue
    They THIN your wallet!
Yes, they work quite well at removing money from your pocket and putting it in the manufacturer's pocket. Almost all shampoos and conditioners work to a modest extent, but none better than the others...so buy the cheap stuff, use according to directions and put the money you save towards a new pair of shoes.
they do but not that noticeable they just make your hair look thicker which is fine for me. it made my hair turn from flat to cute.

    Please answer my question...

    http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;鈥?/a>
i havent used them, but others I tried dont really work....

    i hate having thin hair

    :(
    not really
I've never really found one that make much difference.
It may make it feel thicker or appear thicker after use but it will not permanently change your hair.

How often should I wash my asian hair with shampoo and conditioner?

I have dry, thick, straight asian hair.

The thing is, I do my hair everyday because It doesn't look appealing when it's flat.

So I've been washing my hair everyday but I've heard it's bad to wash it daily, so should I shampoo + condition every other day and just use conditioner the rest of the days that I don't shampoo? How often should I wash my asian hair with shampoo and conditioner?
Washing your everyday isn't bad for your type of hair. The problem mostly comes from the black ethnicity, for they have oily scalps in general. Then so the need for washing hair everyday is less needed seeing as it could lead to oil depletion, and their heads being dried out(flaky). That was also why the pick was invented( I believe) to clean hair w/o need of shower.

Conditioner alone isn't healthy mostly cause conditioner provides a outer layer that protects hair, and possibly any ';thing'; that might still be on your hair.

Considering your hair type washing everyday is fine Asian, Europeans, and among other who have a balance scalp that can withstand being washed often. How often should I wash my asian hair with shampoo and conditioner?
as a person coming from german and czech heritage i suggest that you do it up in a real crazy asian hairdo, hell i would immediatly if i had the chance but i just have plain jane caulk asian hair
    NO NO NO BAD

everyone should always wash their hair every other day !!

or else it very bad %26amp; yourh hair will smell even though u wash it everyday %26amp; wen u conditiner u have to put shampoo
shampoo and condition my hair everyday and its soft and healthy

i would keep to your routine but maybe use one of those deep conditioners by garnier fructis so you hair doesnt dry out

    hope i helped!
yea i agree with the first person, shampoo n condition everyday

apparently it makes ur hair more oily that way... even though it sounds like the opposite

Whats the best brand of hair shampoo and conditioner to use?

I have damaged hair. i need help. thanks(:Whats the best brand of hair shampoo and conditioner to use?
Garnier Fructis with conditioner works well for me. It's also good to have say, two shampoos, and alternate between them. That way, you hair gets nutrition from both and doesn't build a resistance to one (not sure about this statement, but it can't hurt ;) ).Whats the best brand of hair shampoo and conditioner to use?
I'll tell you a few that have worked well for me, I have damaged hair too.. and it sucks.

    These help a lot..

John Freida Root Awakening Shampoo and conditioner for dry hair, it works soo well and when its on your scalp (the conditioner) it feels so great (tingling kind of)

    Garnier Fructis for dry hair.

    Dove intense damage therapy system.

Matrix conditioning balm or smooth conditioner works good.

I'd go for the John Frieda Root Awakening for dry hair, its so amazing.

The Garnier is good too if you need something a little cheaper.

    Root Awakening- 6-7 dollars?

    Garnier- 4-5 dollars.
you should try using Unicure Blue or Natural Shampoo only couple times a week along with Unicure Hair and Skin Conditioner 3-4+ times daily as both a leave in and wash out conditioner its grease less, perfume, fragrance, and color free. i recommend biolage, its a little pricey so if you cant afford it there are generic brands at sallys that smell just like it and work the same. anything you can find in a grocery store is something you dont want to use. youd be surprised at how bad herbal essences is for your hair, because it smells so good, they use cheap fragrances in it that DAMAGE your hair. pantene has plastics and waxes in it which stick to your hair. I think dove is okay though, i work in a salon and stylists frown upon people who use pantene and stuff.
    probably Dove.

Herbal essensces completely strips your hair, so i would use it only on very healthy hair...and products like pantene pro-v are terrible because they build up and damage your hair that way.

My hair is pretty badly damaged and Dove is the best product i've found so far for it. i love it.
My hair used to be really damaged but now it's got much better. I use:

    -Head and shoulders shampoo

-Pantene Pro-v Repair and Protect Conditioner

-Tres semme heat protect spray (before blow drying)

-VO5 heat protect spray (before straightening - if you do so)

My split ends are now practically non existant, so i would really recommend any of these products :)
EITHER Herbal Essences for dry damaged hair

OR Schwarzkopf Supersoft for dry damaged hair (they smell amazing)

OR Alberto Balsam (also smell amazing and really cheap).

ALSO try using heat protection spray, i use Lee Stafford or Tresemme.

Try using some of those VO5 hot oils.
I use Herbal Essences, especially the self targeting shampoo and conditioner
i wud say dove for damaged hair.... i think it comes in a blue bottle

  • How to manage curly dry hair, shampoo and conditioner?

I have lovely curly dry hair and I want to know how often should I shampoo it and how often should I use conditioner?

    also are 'natural' shampoos preferred?

I have to add that I do physical exercise and I sweat in the head so would I need to shampoo more often?

thanks! How to manage curly dry hair, shampoo and conditioner?
Normally for dry hair and especially for curls you would shampoo and condition no more than every third day with a moisturizing shampoo and conditioner. If you are athletic then I would suggest every other day and do a deep condition once a week. How to manage curly dry hair, shampoo and conditioner?
i have very long natural curly hair myself and its gets dry and i use a couple of different things its good to alternate i use #1 sunsilk (the green bottles its for curly hair) they also have a leave in curl enhancer that you put on before your products. #2 after showering i put this my hair before my products and i love it! and it works for me its better for my curls and frizz and the dryness its by LaCoupe its called perfect curls -curl booting spray its in a long and tall green bottle.. i also use home made hair masks or buy them from a store and do that every couple weeks.. and as far as washing it i only do it every 2 days .. well good luck and hope i was able to help you.. you can also go to sunsilk.com or sunsilk.ca depends where you live to get a free sample
    me too,tell me too
    howdy there

i suggest a shampoo and conditioner that adds extra moisture.

the fudge range of shampoo has a great range of products.

and dont shampoo your hair so much!
Aloe Vera,is a good remedy for dry hair. It is obtained from the leaves of the Aloe Vera plant. Break the leaf and squeeze out the liquid inside, apply this liquid to your scalp, keep for about an hour and wash it off . Check out http://solutionsfordryhair.blogspot.com/ for more info.

What are some hair straightening shampoo's and/or conditioners that I could find in a store?

I have always seen the hair straightening shampoo's/conditioners online like Theraphy-M Super Straightener but I can't seem to find a store that sells them. I was wondering what other brands I'd find in a store like Target, Wal-Mart, you know. If not, can I find them in almost every beauty salon/store?What are some hair straightening shampoo's and/or conditioners that I could find in a store?
Sometimes available and Target and Walmart:

TIGI Bed Head Control Freak Shampoo

    Sexy Hair Straight Sexy Shampoo

Almost always available and Target and Walmart:

Frizz Ease Straight Ahead Style-Starting Daily Shampoo

EDIT: Also if you just want the cheap stuff, almost all shampoos companies make straightening shampoos. (eg. sunsilk, pantene, herbal essences, garnier fructis, even sauve...but don't get that that sucks)What are some hair straightening shampoo's and/or conditioners that I could find in a store?
There's a relatively cheap kind called 'Hairpy' by the company Sunsilk. They sell stuff for all different kinds of hair...
theres a brnad called john frida...i think thats how u spell it or john freda..hmm...not sure..anyways get the 1 that say to have straight hair...and theres dif. steps.....like the conditionor shampoo and leave in conditioner.........and stuuf get all the steps 4 straight hair.....and i've tried it and it actually kinda works

What does oily hair and dry hair shampoo do to your hair?

the shampoo's are more aimed at the scalp, thats where the oils come from.

shampoo for oily hair usually have an astringent to dry excessive oils on the scalp.

shampoo for dry hair is usually mild, to prevent overdrying the scalp.

if u have oily scalp, go to a salon and get Paul Mitchell Tea Tree shampoo.

if u have dry hair, go to a salon and purchase Nexxus Therapee shampoo.

Do NOT use store bought oils and conditioners on ur hair/scalp.What does oily hair and dry hair shampoo do to your hair?
The shampoo for oily hair has more detergeant in it to dry up the natural oils, and the dry hair shampoo has less because your hair needs a gentler shampoo.

If your hair is really dry, try an hot oil hair treatment once a month this helps your hair from breaking and also helps stop split ends.

My favourite shampoo right now is Panteene Pro-V.

How often should you wash your hair with shampoo?

How often are you suppost to wash your hair with shampoo? and do you have to use conditionar? and is it bad for your hair to wash it everyday? for normal hair. How often should you wash your hair with shampoo?
I try not to touch my hair with my fingers throughout the day and I can go up to 3 days without washing. Since my hair is long, I let the natural oils stay in a little longer, it won't hurt. As long as it doesn't look oily it's okay, otherwise wash more often. Sometimes I just wash the roots of my hair in the sink with a gentle shampoo and that will make it easy for a last minute fix. On the 3rd day when I wash my hair I actually wash the roots very good and then rinse and repeat with a litte more shampoo. I use a very rich conditioner but use it sparingly, focusing on the tips and working it through to the ends. I try to use less hair product because that can cause buildup of oils and flakes and cause me to have to wash more often. How often should you wash your hair with shampoo?
Glad I could help! Thanks! Report Abuse

i wash my hair every other day with both shampoo and conditioner if i wait to long my hair tends to get all greasy and tangeled
My Hair is really thick and I wash it every other day. Any longer and I can't stand it.
Since your a black female like me we can wash our hair once a week, or every two weeks. You have to remember our hair is very different so we can't wash it every single day. We naturally have dry hair so washing it everyday will strip it of it's natural oils, and cause breakage. The other races have more oils in their hair so they have to wash it constantly because it will get oily and look stringy. We lack these oils so we don't have to wash our hair as much. I usually will wash mine once a week, and I recommend that you should do the same, but as a black female two weeks is the farthest you should go without washing it. As far as the conditioner is concerned, you should use it after you shampoo your hair. Conditioner helps to keep your hair in a healthy state. It goes hand and hand with shampoo. I hope I haven't offended anyone with what I'm saying. I'm just trying to give you facts based on our hair because it's a lot different.
I'm not sure how often is best, but I wash my hair everyday and use conditioner, otherwise my hair gets tangled very bad. A gal at a salon I went to once said that if you want a really deep clean with no filmy stuff to use salon-brand shampoos and conditioners, but if you want a little shine in your hair, use stuff you get at Wal-Mart or somewhere like that.
you shold wash ur hair at least everyother day
I wash my hair twice a week and use deep conditioner also. My hair is also colored and I use a Chi every other day.
Well my dear it is ok to wash your hair wennever you think it needs it. You can wash it evan daily as long as u use a shampoo special for daily use. After you wash it with shampoo it is very impotant to use conditionar because it moisturises and detangles hair. Also it provides protection.

If u wash your hair daily you can shampoo only your roots. The foam will reach the lenght of the hair and wash it. This is a good way to prevent dry hair.
I use shampoo and conditioner everyday. It works for me.
I wash it every other day with both shampoo and conditioner. I probably should try to wash it less because mine is coloured but I stick with the products that are meant for colour treated hair so it helps.
I have long hair and have always been told not to wash my hair everyday, but it is hard not to especially in the summer and when you work out all the time.

I guess It depends on how thick or thin your hair is and where you live and what the humidity is like there. Some people can get away with it, and use a shower cap others don't wash their hair but let the water run through it to keep your hairs natural oils.

I was also told when at all possible to refrain from washing my hair every day especially in the winter. So every other day I make it an ';up-do'; hair day.
I wash mine every other day. If I do it more it gets dried out. :)

What kind of hair shampoo do you use?

i use herbal essences hydralicious.the orange one.

    it smells yummalicious.

Has anyone had any luck with faster hair growth using the mane n tail hair shampoo?

I have always heard that using the mane n tail hair shampoo will help your hair grow fasterHas anyone had any luck with faster hair growth using the mane n tail hair shampoo?
Yes it actually did help mine when I used it. I got a bad haircut and wanted my hair to grow faster, it's not going to happen over night but it helps keep your hair healthy and strong which is ideal for growing hair out. The only thing about it though is that it doesn't have a very pleasant smell to it.

So if you do decide to use it I would recommend after using the mane n' tail to use your regular shampoo to help out with the smell issue.Has anyone had any luck with faster hair growth using the mane n tail hair shampoo?

TRESEMEWhich is the best hair shampoo and conditioner?
Herbal Essences The Light blue bottle works fantastic

and it has a long lasting great smell!

For more info click the link below!
I recommend either Treseme or Garnier Fructise.
either treseme hydrate or herbal essences hydration-i use them ...also use a leave in conditioner for extra moisture...u can also use protection spray for ur hair-this will help prevent damage from heat
    Joico Kerapro and K-Pak.

It's the only one that contains human hair keratin protein, which is the exact right molecular size and weight to bond with damaged hair. Silk proteins and other proteins added to most commmercial shampoos don't bond because the protein molecules are either too small and rinse out, or too large and won't bond.

Joico is a salon-only brand, and it's a little expensive, but well worth it.

the human hair keratin protein comes from healthy asian hair, which they grow long and sell it, it's spun through a centrifuge to remove the protein, and added to Joico products.
Your best and only bet is a good haircut. Even the best shampoos and conditioners won't ';fix'; split ends. You should also protect your hair from heat-styling to prevent further damage with a conditioning styling cream, there are a ton of 'em available at any drugstore.

What is the best shampoo/hair product for faster hair growth?

I don't want some answer like 'time' please :) Just something to make it a bit faster :)What is the best shampoo/hair product for faster hair growth?
Fructis Length and Strength may help. :)

Also make sure to massage your scalp when you shampoo...it stimulates growth as well.

Good luck! What is the best shampoo/hair product for faster hair growth?
Hair grows between 1/4 and 1/2 inch per month, and there is not much you can do to accelerate it. The biggest thing is treating your hair right so that I grows optimally fast. I recommend following these tips: http://www.ehow.com/how_2277187_hair-grow-faster.html to make sure you are on track. Additionally, you can try hair-growth products, which I have found do work in doubling your hair growth if you get the one. Try the ones listed in the article above.

I really like Tresemme and Aussie. Aussie just smells good and I like to change it up every once in a while. What's your favorite hair shampoo/conditioner and why?
I use the same as Audrina, Herbal Essences Hello Hydration. It's a blue bottle. Very nice shampoo and conditioner, hydrates hair, and smells great too.
I'm in love with Paul Mitchell's Lavender Mint Tea Tree Shampoo. Doesn't fade my color, helps my scalp since I dyed it blonde from blackest black. Makes my hair soft, and it smells so freaking good.
I love baby shampoo by johnson and johnson, very gentle and really smell great and top it off it makes my hair shinny and new
I like Garnier Fructis Length and Strength and Aussie 3-minute miracle along with Hello Hydration because they keep my hair strong, shiny and soft.
Shampoo I don't care which one as long as it is gentle but conditioner for me is key and I love Paul mitchell instant daily moisture with shea butter it is the best!
Oddly enough, Suave Naturals Coconut is the best for my hair with olive oil or honey added as a humectant.

Garnier FructisAny straightening Hair shampoo in Singapore?
    is that place in laos?
Have you try looking at your nearby Guardian or Watson stores? I'm sure you could find one there....in case you can't just go to the nearest salon to have your hair washed and treated there. Then ask the hairstylist to recommend you a good straightening shampoo....it's not wrong to try and ask them. Good Luck!!

use a peppermint shampoo which is clarifying and makes the hair supple. for the softener u can use glycerin mixed with water with some essential oils. glycerin draws moisture from the air and softens the hair instead of drying it out

Is there a place to get a good men hair shampoo and beard trimmed?

In the Rockford, Ill. area?Is there a place to get a good men hair shampoo and beard trimmed?
Great Clips has over 2700 locations, there may be one near you. I know they only charge $5 for a beard trim. They also carry American Crew which is an awesome men's product line. Or Smart Styles is a salon in the Walmart super centers. I'm not sure what they have as far as product go.

I really like straightening shampoo's and conditioners. Even if it doesn't do much to straighten my hair it helps the frizziness. This might not be the same for everyones hair though.
I use Deva-No poo and Deva-low poo for shampoo and Deva One condtition for conditioner. My hair started looking much better after using these products. I only wish they made nicer smelling things like V05. :/
